Communication is King!
Tilletts is a family business located in the fashionable Seaview Street in the east coast resort of Cleethorpes. They specialise in ladies’ fashion with a typical customer base being aged between 35 and 60 who like to buy new clothes each season and want to look good in fashionable but affordable clothes. In addition to their two stores they have a thriving online business which is promoted weekly through Facebook Live events.
The business has grown significantly over the last few years and they wanted to recruit a key team member responsible for their two stores in Cleethorpes and Louth. This would be a strategic appointment as their company is poised for continued growth. They were finding it difficult to source a suitable applicant using their usual method of recruiting via social media and were attracted to Root2 Recruit because of their affordable pricing and impressive recruitment results. They had never used a recruitment agency before and because of their fast-paced working environment it was crucial that the process was easy and effective with a quick result.
Tilletts chose a “Classic” recruitment campaign from our range of three different options. The package includes substantial advertising over the major job boards and social media platforms. To reach out to even more candidates we conducted an in-depth search over our own database and various CV databases to invite suitable candidates to apply for the role. All candidates are collated in a client portal and then assessed manually by our experienced account managers. To assist with the selection process, we create a bespoke application form which candidates complete. The purpose of this form is to go beyond the CV and questions can be asked around any issues relevant to the role or the candidate. Candidates are kept informed of their progress throughout and our account manager Lyndsey had regular updates with Grace Tillett to keep her abreast of any developments. The cost of a Classic campaign is just £995.00. The applicants are manually assessed and only suitable candidates are uploaded into the client portal making it easy for the client to make their decision on who to meet. Tilletts met with five candidates and were delighted to make an offer to the person they felt had the most relevant experience and fit for Team Tillett.
