Key Maintenance Engineer responsibilities:

  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure minimum product downtime
  • Contribute to implementing new working methods and actively participate in continuous improvement
  • Ensure consistency in quality of work across the various lines
  • Ensure smooth changeovers/handovers between shifts
  • To actively and analytically fault find
  • To understand company performance measurements 
  • Promote and adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy, ensuring that all tasks are carried out to the safe systems of work provided by management

Personal specification for Maintenance Engineer:

  • Time served with a recognised apprenticeship, or qualified by experience either mechanical or electrical
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment desirable
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and capable of working unsupervised 
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of control systems & PLC’s
  • Comfortable working days and nights

This is a varied role covering all aspects of product testing, value engineering, product design and evaluation of new or existing products. This Developer will specialise in the Network solutions part of the business and will be working predominantly on duct, access chambers, covers and other Network Solutions products.


The role of Product Development Engineer will be based within the research and development department at Loughborough and will involve working closely with all other departments within the business.  The ideal Product Development Engineer will have a minimum of one year’s project experience within a product development and testing environment with experience of composite materials (Specifically SMC & DMC) and will have a passion for continuous improvement.


Key responsibilities Product Development Engineer:


  • To undertake development, testing and design projects in line with NPD objectives
  • Carry out CAD drawings to a high quality and standards
  • To critically and accurately undertake product testing and evaluation, generating high quality test reports
  • To understand and work to project briefs with the ability to develop/work to a project plan by liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with the quality and standards department with regards to product certification and testing
  • Maintain appropriate records at all stages of the product development project
  • Comply with the departments ISO 9001:2008 procedures
  • Proven ability to undertake design projects


Personal specification Development Engineer:


  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or similar
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience with CAD design packages (Solidworks or similar)
  • Experience in process planning
  • Able to prioritise workloads and multi-task

We are looking for a qualified Electrical / Instrument Technician to join the team of one of the largest producers of industrial gas in the world.   Ideally with experience in industrial gas (liquid CO2) this is an exciting opportunity for you to join a first-class organisation and a great team.   Your primary role will be the maintenance of the Wilton COliquefaction and Teesside liquid storage terminal but with secondary responsibility to support the wider business within the North of the UK.  This is a great career opportunity for an experienced Electrical / Instrument professional to join an organisation who genuinely look after their employees.

Key Responsibilities – Electrical/Instrument Technician:

  • Support the Operations department in the planning & execution of routine and breakdown maintenance of COInstallations/Production and Storage facilities 
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of plant operations
  • Availability for plant breakdown call outs
  • Provide technical support to all departments, customer base and third-party suppliers when required
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of COInstallations.
  • Assist with the pre delivery inspections and back-feed assessments of COcustomers.
  • Specify and evaluate suppliers and equipment
  • Assist in the control of site maintenance expenditure in accordance with the company’s purchasing procedures.
  • Maintain all relevant documentation relating to site maintenance work, including the development and update of the plant maintenance procedures.
  • Work in accordance with Company Health, Safety & Quality Policy, safety principles and relevant health and safety legislation

Person Specification:

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical/instrument craft studies
  • Relevant maintenance experience in an operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of safe systems of work with sound engineering practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current UK and European engineering and pressure systems standards and Health & Safety legislation
  • Computer literate with experience of maintenance systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Valid driving licence
