Working Foreman



£13 ph – £15 ph

We have a great opportunity for a suitably qualified Working Foreman with experience of working with hot air welding tools. You may come from a ground-working background where you are used to dealing with liners, membranes, attenuation tanks and gas membranes or perhaps a Roofing Foreman or indeed an experienced Roofer looking to move to supervisory level.  As the Foreman you will work with a couple of installers all over the UK, working away from home for most of the week.  This is a genuine opportunity for a Site Working Foreman to join a well-established and well-known group who are part of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of building protection systems to clients throughout the UK.

Personal specification – Working Foreman:

  • Good manual dexterity
  • Experience working with heat, hot air welding tools
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience working in an installation environment
  • CSCS card
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Strong personality, self-starter with tenacity and drive
  • Full clean driving licence

Key responsibilities – Working Foreman:

  • Manage team (2-3) effectively
  • Install all membrane and ventilation systems to required specification
  • Operate machinery and tools associated with installation, safely and efficiently
  • Examine tools and equipment to check for correct working order
  • Keep all tools, machinery and equipment clean
  • Ensure all raw materials are available to complete each job
  • Ensure work areas are kept tidy and safe at all times

You may currently be working for a roofing company using hand tools, in which case this would be a good opportunity for you to transfer your skills.
