£25k – £35k (DOE) + bonus

The Software Tester and Support Engineer will work with the development team to perform a full system and user acceptance test prior to release of each project.  This will involve some manual testing and code writing to automate the test process.

Key responsibilities Software Test and Support Engineer:

Responsibilities are two-fold – Testing, Support and Maintenance:

  • Collaborate with the development team to set quality targets, test and automate testing
  • Perform code reviews ensuring quality standards are set and remain fully adhered to
  • Configure cloud platforms, manage the configuration of system and the release process to clients
  • Deal with client support requests via ITIL portal, emails and telephone calls,  working with the development team to resolve issues efficiently and effectively with minimal downtime

Personal specification Software Test and Support Engineer:

  • Coding experience in Java, HTML5 and JavaScript
  • Qualified to degree level, or by experience
  • Excellent communication skills to interact in a friendly and professional manner with clients and via our support portal
  • Good team player
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
